What we build

Full privacy fences

Solid tongue-and-groove panels for backyards, side yards and property lines.

Semi-privacy and lattice-top

Panels with a lattice or spaced top section that let light through while still screening the yard.

Picket fences

Lower front-yard and garden fences in white or colour, sized to stay under front-yard permit heights.

Matching gates

Single and double walk gates and drive gates, reinforced so they stay square and close properly.

What to think about first

Cold-weather handling. Vinyl gets stiffer in deep cold, so panels and rails need room for expansion and posts need to be set properly below the frost line. That is where most failed vinyl fences go wrong.
Wind exposure. Solid panels catch a lot of wind. On open lots we plan post spacing and reinforcement around it.
Permit heights. In Calgary, fences above 2m in a rear yard or 1.2m in a front yard need a permit. We confirm what applies before the quote.
Utility locates. Locates are booked before any post hole is dug.

Common questions

Does a vinyl fence hold up in Calgary winters?

Yes, when it is installed for the climate: posts set below frost depth, room left for expansion and contraction, and reinforced gates. Most problems come from installation, not the material.

Is vinyl more expensive than wood?

Vinyl usually costs more upfront than a wood fence, but it never needs staining or sealing, so the long-term upkeep is much lower.

Can you match vinyl to an existing fence?

Often, if the profile and colour are still made. We check what is available at the site visit.
