What to think about first

  • Wind load. Solid fences catch wind, so posts, footings and framing are sized for Alberta wind.
  • Edges and safety. Exposed panel edges should be capped or framed so they are safe to be around.
  • Permits. Fences above 2m in a rear yard, or 1.2m in a front yard, need a City of Calgary permit.
  • Neighbours and HOAs. Some communities limit materials or colours; we check before you commit.

Common questions

Is corrugated steel fencing good in Calgary wind?

Yes, when posts, footings and framing are sized for it. Solid fences take more wind load than open fences, so we design for it.

Does it rust?

Galvanized and painted panels resist rust; weathering-style steel is meant to form a stable rust-coloured surface.

Do you install corrugated fencing for commercial yards?

Yes: laydown yards, equipment storage and industrial sites, in Calgary and across Alberta.

Can it be combined with a gate?

Yes. Gates can be clad in matching panels so the fence line looks continuous.
